FIFA 17 launched at the new home of football history
<p>FIFA World Football Museum is hosting a special event at 17:00 on <a target="_blank" href="http://www.fifamuseum.com/exhibitions-and-events/events/fifa-17-launched-at-the-new-home-of-football-history/">Monday 26 September 2016</a> to celebrate the release of EA SPORTS’ incredibly popular video game FIFA 17 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.</p>
<p>To mark the occasion, reigning <a target="_blank" href="https://www.facebook.com/fiwc/">FIFA Interactive World Cup</a> (FIWC) champion Mohamad Al-Bacha will take on Wolfsburg’s official FIFA player and <a target="_blank" href="https://www.facebook.com/SaLz0r/">4-time German champion Benedikt Saltzer</a> in a one-off clash on the giant screens of the museum’s <a target="_blank" href="http://www.fifamuseum.com/visit/sports-bar-1904/">Sportsbar 1904</a>.</p>
<p>Visitors will also get an exclusive opportunity to try out the newest version of the FIFA video game series - three days ahead of its official launch. The ‘gaming zone’ within the museum will provide 10 consoles with FIFA 17 for guests to enjoy, and will open at 18:00.</p>
<p>The video game event will also feature a presentation from EA SPORTS and an announcement on the new FIWC tournament mode – with the competition becoming increasingly professional as interest grows ahead of the 13<sup>th</sup> edition’s qualification process starting on 1 October 2016.</p>
