<p><strong>After four exciting qualifiers, the eight finalists for the Grand Final of the FIFA 20 Tournament at the FIFA Museum on Sunday, 30 August are finally set. Luca "LuBo" Boller, museum ambassador and first captain of the Swiss eNational team, will also be there. The entrance for spectators is free.</strong></p> <p>On two weekends this August, a very special group met in the Event Hall of the FIFA Museum in Zurich: passionate FIFA players. They came from all over Switzerland and some of them even from abroad, to play in one of the four qualifying tournaments to secure a place in the Grand Final of the FIFA Museum eCup on 30 August. One gamer travelled all the way from Manchester, England to compete in the tournament. From talented hobby players to ambitious young professionals, everyone was represented.</p> <p><strong>Fiercely contested tournaments</strong><br>The tournaments were fiercely contested. The tournaments were played in a group phase, followed by knockouts. Everything, including the final, was played with a return match. Many duels had clear winners, but some of them were really close.</p> <p>Alessandro Sivori for example, who had travelled all the way from Manchester, had to go through a penalty shootout to win against Arton Arifi in the final of the second qualifier. The disappointment about the defeat was alleviated, however, as Arifi, who came second, also qualified for the Grand Final on August 30.</p> <p><strong>An Xbox player wins on PlayStation</strong><br>Two weeks later, Rufus Isaka won the fourth and final qualifier. In gaming circles Rufus is known as dimorientes10. Strangely enough, he usually plays on the Xbox. He impressively proved in the FIFA Museum that he can also win on PlayStation.</p>

<p>Now that all the qualifying tournaments have been played, the eight participants of the final tournament have been determined. Admission to the Event Hall of the FIFA Museum, where the program takes place, is free of charge.</p> <p>In the morning, children between the ages of 6 and 15 get the chance to prove their talent on the PlayStation. At the Kids tournament between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., FIFA 20 will be played. Participation is free and there are great prizes to be won.
