Women’s football has developed hugely in recent years, and more and more girls are taking up the world’s most popular team sport. The FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada™ was a great success, with 25.4 million people in the USA watching live on Fox as their team beat Japan 5-2 in the final, making it the most viewed soccer game in the history of American television.

“FIFA World Football Museum – what a beautiful space," FIFA Women's World Cup winner and Olympic gold medalist Abby Wambach, USA, wrote in the museum guest book.

"I am thrilled to see it and be a small part of the wonderful history of the beautiful game!”

“We would be delighted if as many women as possible took advantage of this offer,” adds Jost. “At the end of their visit, non-fans too have a better understanding of the phenomenon that is football.” Visitors can then have a chat about their experiences over a coffee and snack in one of the museum’s eateries.
