Murat Yakin: You recently spent time in the USA with the national team and also attended matches at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™. What was your impression of this new tournament?
I sensed a lot of enthusiasm. The atmosphere in the stadiums was electric at times, and you could feel that football is continuing to grow in the USA, both sportingly and culturally. The tournament is also very well organised.
Which team has impressed you the most so far?
Some European teams are performing extremely well, both technically and tactically. But I've also been impressed by the South American teams, especially their passion and dynamism. Speaking of passion, the enthusiastic South American fans have created a fantastic atmosphere at this FIFA Club World Cup™.
On 13 July, you will be a guest of the FIFA Museum, where you can watch the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ final. What can visitors and fans expect?
I'm looking forward to the evening. It won't just be about the match; there will also be exciting discussions about football. I'll be sharing insights into what a tournament like this means from a sporting perspective, and of course, we'll all be enjoying the final together. Hopefully!
