FIFA Museum and Hyundai Win Red Dot Design Award 2024
The FIFA Museum is proud to announce that its special exhibition, “Calling the Shots: Faces of Women’s Football”, presented by Hyundai, has won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2024 in the category of “Exhibition Design”.
Showcased in Sydney during the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™, the exhibition attracted over 50,000 visitors in just four weeks. Through a rich collection of artefacts, it brought to life the stories, struggles and triumphs of the individuals who have shaped the women’s game, inspiring a new generation to lace up their boots.
This was the FIFA Museum’s fourth on-site exhibition in collaboration with Hyundai at a FIFA World Cup - following “The History Makers” in Moscow (2018), “The Women’s Game” in Paris (2019), and “Goals Create History” in Doha (2022). It is also the second Red Dot Design Award won by these collaborations, with “The Women’s Game” in 2019 being the first, underlining the exceptional value of the FIFA Museum’s partnership with Hyundai.
The Red Dot Design Award is one of the largest and most prestigious global design competitions, attracting over 18,000 entries annually from professionals, companies, and organizations across more than 70 countries.
